TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Amid criticisms in his administration, Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba said he will not fail in his “good intentions” for the province.

During his speech at the fellowship night for Tuao town government employees, an emotional Mamba said his critics are surely waiting for his lapses to bring him down.

“Alam kong naghihintay silang magkamali ako. Alam kong naghihintay silang pumalpak ako sa ginagawa ko pero sila ang mabibigo, dahil nasa akin ang pinaka-magandang intensyon para sa Probinsya ng Cagayan,” Mamba said.

Mamba said his government is focused on “principled and honest” and God-centered governance so it’s hard for him to wrong on his goal to make the province progressive.

He also asked the officials in the Capitol to make some sacrifices so they could perform their duties well.

He said he’s keeping an eye on his critics but will continue uniting his constituents. TNF
